I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Education. While at the University of Colorado I was 3 time All American. I set the Colorado University Records in the 1,000 yard Run, 1 mile and 2Mile as well as many Cross County and Relay records. After graduating for C.U. I taught for 3 years and ran on the Colorado Track Club where we set a World Record in the indoor distance medley and won a national championship in Cross Country. I still hold the prep mile record as no one has every run a mile faster in the state of Colorado. I coached Track and Field at Metro State College in Denver Colorado as well at the prep level at Highland High School and at Fairview High School. I owned a Runners Roost Shoe store as well as being in the Athletic apparel business for many years. My background in the building trades dates back to the mid 1960's when I worked with my father in carpentry. I have built houses, remodeled houses and worked in the painting field, the carpentry trade, & the plumbing trade.
